I'm Alex. I take photographs of places I'm passing through and the people who happen to be in them — usually by accident, occasionally on purpose, never with a plan that survives the first day.

I'm based in Madrid. Before that, Guatemala City. Before that, a handful of other places that I keep going back to in pictures even when I can't go back in person. The work here is grouped by where it was made; the order, like most of the trips, is a little improvised.
